Top-Tier Financial Services Firm in New York City is seeking a Futures Accountant!
Role:
Reconcile futures trading positions, ensuring accurate posting of transactions and proper allocation of gains/losses.
Monitor and analyze daily trading activity, identifying discrepancies and resolving any issues related to margin calls or contract settlements.
Provide detailed financial analysis and support related to futures market activity.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
FINRA Series 27 License or FINRA Series 3
CPA License
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
Minimum of 5+ years accounting experience
Previous experience in accounting function at a broker dealer, clearing firm, or financial services industry a plus
Experience as a broker-dealer FINOP professional
