Oversees operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities for improvement or revision.
Anticipates and tracks operational and tactical risks and provides strategic solutions.
Manages day-to-day business of the operations department while balancing the responsibilities of various business lines such as business analysis, vendor, and risk management.
Lead, motivate, and support different teams within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including plans for direct reports and problem resolution
Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent service
Partner with cross-functional teams and departments to improve current processes and systems
Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management
Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale.
Work with the board of directors to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company
Works with sales teams to help set and meet daily and quarterly goals.
Oversees and reports weekly monthly, quarterly, and annual metrics.
Raises and tracks issues and conflicts, remove barriers, resolves issues of medium complexity involving stakeholders and escalates to an appropriate level when required.
Goal Oriented and able to devise strategies for successfully implementing new processes, reports, etc.
Highly motivated and not afraid to get multiple follow-ups across teams to get jobs done on time
Operations Manager Qualifications / Skills:
Addressing operational concerns and issues, monitoring overall customer satisfaction
Developing and implementing operational procedures and policies
Analyzing training needs/requirements
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities
Ability to communicate with others effectively
Ability to conduct research for special projects, respond timely inquiries, and present written/ oral briefings
Ability to work with details and time-sensitive issues
Good decision-making skills and response to high-pressure situations
