Job Description
Member Duties : A Public Health Americorps Member is ready to get their hands dirty and able to commit full-time to Gardeneers' invaluable 10-month experience. During the service year, they will be placed in a handful of school communities primarily in Chicago's South and West Sides, where they will coordinate education and outreach efforts through school garden programs, community events, free farm stands, information distribution and local partnerships. In addition, they will be vital in maintaining the gardens so that they exude beauty and produce free healthy food options in the neighborhoods we serve.
