Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Garment Designer located in Meerut with work-from-home flexibility. The Garment Designer will be responsible for creating and developing innovative and functional designs for various garments. The day-to-day tasks include designing clothing concepts, creating technical sketches, selecting fabrics and materials, and collaborating with other designers, pattern makers, and production teams. The Garment Designer will also be involved in trend research and creating mood boards to guide the design process.
Qualifications
• Garment Design, Fashion Illustration, and Technical Sketching skills
• Experience in Fabric Selection, Textile Knowledge, and Material Sourcing
• Trend Research and Mood Board Creation skills
• Proficiency in Design Software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) and CAD applications
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Prior experience in the fashion or garment industry is a plus
