Roles and Responsibilities:
• 8+ years of GCP experience
• Design, develop, and implement secure and scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP using infrastructure as a service (IaaS)
• Migrate on-premises infrastructure and applications to GCP, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption.
• Manage and optimize GCP resources for performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Design scalable secure and cost-effective cloud architecture on GCP, this involves selecting appropriate GCP services.
• Experienced in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks such as Terraform , Deployment Manager, Google cloud SDK
• Experience in compute and networking solutions in GCP such as VM, Containers Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), serverless computing, VPC, Subnets, Routes, Load Balancers and VPN Connections
• Experienced in storage and database such as cloud storage, cloud SQL, cloud spanner, bigtable, firestore and datastore.
• Experienced and best practiced in security and compliance.
• Implement security best practices for GCP, including IAM policies, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and encryption.
• Monitor and troubleshoot GCP infrastructure issues, proactively identify potential problems, and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand their requirements and translate them into cloud-based solutions.
• Stay up to date on the latest GCP offerings and technologies, continuously improving your knowledge and skills.
• Document infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures.
Qualifications:
• Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect or related certifications
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure on GCP
• Strong understanding of IaaS and PaaS concepts.
• Experience with GCP core services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Networking, and Cloud IAM.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
