We are looking for some excellent English tutors in the Haringey area who have a passion for teaching and a proven track record of success in teaching students at KS4 level to join our database. Our tutors are skilled at developing and delivering engaging and informative lesson plans, assessing student learning, and providing academic support. They are also effective communicators and have a strong ability to build relationships with students. Responsibilities: Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1 Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level Assessing any barriers to student’s learning and working to overcome these Monitoring student progress and producing reports Creating a positive and supportive learning environment Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks you're providing subject tuition in Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager To be successful in this role, you should have: Bachelor's degree Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs is preferred 2+ years of tutoring / teaching experience Ability to work with students of all abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Right to be self employed in the UK Benefits: Competitive hourly rate Opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students Collaborative and supportive work environment At Tutors Green our mission is to make first class tuition available, primarily for disadvantaged students by delivering a range of discounted and pro-bono tuition services to families and schools in the UK.
