Overview
Green Lake Jewelry Works creates one-of-a-kind custom bridal jewelry and provides expert restoration services in a collaborative studio environment. We’re seeking a highly organized, detail-driven assistant to support our Gem Department and Gem Buyers. This role is essential to keeping gemstone inventory accurate, traceable, and moving smoothly through the studio.
We are looking for candidates who love structured work, thrive on precision, and take pride in getting the details right.
Responsibilities:
Receive, process, and log incoming gemstone inventory with accuracy and care
Coordinate and document returns to vendors
Maintain precise short- and long-term inventory records
Organize and maintain department files and documentation
Answer department phone inquiries professionally
Provide operational support to designers and front-of-house teams as needed
What Success Looks Like:
Inventory records are consistently accurate and up to date
Tasks are completed reliably in a fast-moving studio environment
Communication with vendors and internal teams is clear and timely
Details are handled carefully without constant oversight
Qualifications/Requirements:
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to prioritize and stay focused amid interruptions
Clear, professional communication skills
Comfort with Microsoft Office or similar tools
Administrative experience required; jewelry or luxury goods experience a plus
Schedule:
Sunday through Thursday
Full-time, 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
