A fast growing Cyber-security startup based in US is Looking for:

Gen AI and Data Engineer

Quantara AI is seeking a highly skilled Gen AI and Data Engineer with extensive experience in AWS native analytics technologies, machine learning (ML), custom large language models (LLMs), and AI model development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing B2B SaaS solutions, preferably in cyber risk management. This role involves automating data pipelines, acquiring data from cyber and industry sources, developing and deploying CI/CD pipelines using microservice architecture, and creating risk quantification engines for generating cyber and financial metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

AI and Machine Learning Model Development:
• Design, develop, and deploy advanced ML, custom LLM, and AI models tailored for cyber security products and business needs.
• Collaborate with data scientists and other stakeholders to contextualize AI models for specific business and industry applications.
• Continuously optimize and refine models to improve performance, accuracy, and scalability using frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.

AWS Native Analytics and Data Engineering:
• Utilize AWS native analytics technologies (e.g., RDS, SageMaker, Bedrock etc.) to manage and process large datasets efficiently.
• Develop and maintain data acquisition pipelines that ingest data from various cyber security and industry sources.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and availability across all data processing workflows.

Risk Quantification Engine Development:
• Develop risk calculation engines to produce various metrics such as KRIs, KPIs, financial metrics, and ROI.
• Implement different calculation mechanisms including Monte Carlo simulation, Bayesian theorem, and three-point estimation.
• Leverage strong mathematical and analytical skills to design and optimize these engines.

B2B SaaS Solution Development:
• Design and develop scalable B2B SaaS solutions, with a focus on cyber risk management, ensuring they meet the highest standards of reliability, security, and performance.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to integrate AI and data solutions into Quantara AI''s cyber risk management offerings.
• Ensure that SaaS solutions are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements for cyber security.

Automation and CI/CD Pipeline Development:
• Automate data processing and ML workflows to streamline the development and deployment of AI models.
• Develop and deploy CI/CD pipelines using microservice architecture, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of software updates.
• Implement best practices for version control, testing, and continuous integration to maintain high code quality.

Cyber Security and Business Contextualization:
• Apply knowledge of cyber security products to develop AI models that address specific industry challenges.
• Design and implement sophisticated data models to detect, analyze, and predict cybersecurity threats.
• Develop and deploy generative AI models to simulate potential cyber-attacks and vulnerabilities.
• Contextualize data and AI models to align with business objectives and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in cyber security and data engineering, incorporating this knowledge into your work.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor''s degree in computer science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field (Master''s preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Gen AI and Data Engineer, with a focus on AWS native analytics technologies and ML/AI model development.
• Proven experience in developing custom LLMs and AI models, with applications in cyber security and business contextualization.
• Strong expertise in developing B2B SaaS solutions, preferably in cyber risk management.
• Experience in developing fact calculation engines using methods like Monte Carlo simulation, Bayesian theorem, and three-point estimation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in PySpark, PostgreSQL, RDS, EMR, ECS, ECR, EKS, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
• Hands-on experience with data acquisition, pipeline automation, and CI/CD pipeline development.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with the ability to develop complex algorithms and models.

Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing environments.
• Knowledge of AI/ML lifecycle management tools and frameworks.
• Experience working with cyber security and threat data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Engagement Type:

Direct Hire with the quantara AI (Direct Contract )

Job Type: Direct Contract -12 Months

Location: Remote

Working time: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
