LD Total is a multi-award winning landscape company specialising in landscape and irrigation design, commercial and residential construction, maintenance and residential lot packages.
We have multiple opportunities to join our Landscape Maintenance team based out of our Baldivis depot:
General Gardeners
Mower Operators
These position will look after our playgrounds, parks and streetscapes contracts. You will need to be able to work independently, be accountable for your own work and be a great communicator.
We have full time positions available for an immediate start.
Selection Criteria
Landscape maintenance experience and/or trade qualification (working towards) in Parks & Gardens or Horticulture (preferred but not essential).
Experience with blowers, hedgers, whipper snippers, hand tools and power tools (preferred preferred but not essential).
Experience with ride on mowers (required for Mower Operator position).
First Aid Certificate (an advantage).
Traffic Management Qualification (an advantage).
Proof of right to work in Australia.
Strong Commitment to safe work practices.
High level of personal work standards.
Ability to work independently and have excellent time management skills.
Capacity to work in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the site supervisor.
Maintaining large turf areas with ride on mowers, whipper snippers and edgers.
Setting up and following traffic management plans.
Blowing down pathways.
General tidy up and making the playground, parks and streetscapes safe.
Documenting and reporting on equipment faults.
Delivering a high-quality end product to exceed client's expectations.
