DW Home Decor is a growing home staging company in Ottawa seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to assist with staging operations.
This is a hands-on role involving furniture moving, warehouse organization, and assisting with staging setups. It’s a great opportunity for someone interested in the home staging or interior design industry, with strong potential for growth into a full-time position.
Responsibilities
Load and unload furniture and décor from staging vehicles
Drive company vehicle to staging locations
Move furniture and accessories within client homes
Assist with staging setups and removals
Organize and maintain warehouse inventory
Support the staging team with general labour tasks
Requirements
Valid driver’s license (required)
Ability to lift and move furniture regularly (50+ lbs)
Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Comfortable working in homes and warehouse environments
Experience in general labour, moving, or staging is an asset
Interest in interior decorating/design is a bonus
Compensation & Growth
$20–$24/hour, based on experience
Performance-based pay increase after 3 months
Opportunity for additional hours over time
