Job Responsibilities:
● Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze and interpret relevant financial information
● Entering financial data such as bank charges, accruals, deferrals, reclassifications, and interdepartmental entries into the ledger on a monthly basis, as well as preparing reports
● Performing account analysis to ensure that journal entries and general ledger balances are correct
● Completing bank reconciliations on a weekly basis and monthly basis
● Intercompany Accounting
● Balance sheet reconciliation (only low risk accounts)
● Gathering supporting documentation and performing recordkeeping
● Ensuring that financial information complies with professional and regulatory standards
● Keeping abreast of regulatory requirements and best practices in accountingTechnical and Behavioral Competencies:
● Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, or in a related specialization
● In-depth knowledge of accounting concepts, accounting standards and regulations
● Exceptional attention to detail
● Efficient time-management
● Excellent collaboration and communication skills
● Willingness to work in UK shifts
● Ability to work under pressureSpecific Qualifications Required: M.Com
