The GM will be responsible for leading and managing the manufacturing operations of the company. This includes overseeing production processes, ensuring quality standards, optimizing efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing operations and achieve production goals.
Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
Operational Management:
Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and execution.
Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve production efficiency and effectiveness.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Implement and maintain robust quality control processes to deliver products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Cost Control:
Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality.
Supply Chain Management:
Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure a smooth flow of materials and components for production.
Optimize inventory levels to balance production needs and cost considerations.
Safety and Compliance:
Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and methodologies to streamline processes.
Team Leadership:
Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing production team.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate regularly with senior management and other stakeholders on production status, challenges, and opportunities.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and other departments to align production with market demands.
Qualifications-
Education: Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical/Production)
Experience: 17-20 years in manufacturing/production, 5+ years in leadership roles.
Skills: Lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, team leadership, and ERP proficiency.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and industry-specific expertise.
