Do you thrive on physical work, enjoy being outdoors in all weather, and like the idea of travelling across western Canada? Mobile Augers is hiring Driller Assistants based out of Edmonton to support our drilling operations on sites ranging from refineries and roads to dams and mines.
We provide full training for motivated individuals looking to start a long-term career in a high-demand trade.

What You’ll Be Doing
Assist the Driller in collecting core samples used to design foundations for buildings, roads, and industrial infrastructure
Load and unload drilling rigs and trucks with tools and supplies
Drive drill or support truck to job sites
Set up sampling equipment, collect and label samples
Lift and handle drilling tools and augers (50–80 lbs) repeatedly
Keep work areas clean and safe, including shovelling around boreholes
What We’re Looking For
No experience necessary—just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Physically fit and able to lift 50–80 lbs repeatedly throughout the day
Able to work in all weather conditions, year-round
Must pass drug and ******* screening
Clean driving record (no DUIs, no more than two minor infractions)
Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and able to work with minimal supervision
Comfortable with frequent travel and irregular schedules
Mechanical aptitude is a strong asset
Must have own transportation to/from the Edmonton shop
