This role focuses on vetting, reviewing, and contributing to the development of high-quality educational content, ensuring cultural and linguistic accuracy, and helping learners in the US achieve fluency.
The ideal candidate will have native proficiency in German, a passion for education, and the ability to collaborate closely with content creators and subject matter experts to refine and enhance learning materials.
Key Responsibilities
• Vet and review German language content for linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and learner engagement.
• Collaborate with educators, content creators, and the Content Head to maintain high standards across the curriculum.
• Provide expert insights on nuanced language usage, idiomatic expressions, and regional variations to enhance content quality.
• Assist in content creation by offering authentic examples, explanations, and contextual corrections.
• Leverage learner feedback to identify gaps and suggest improvements for lesson clarity and engagement.
• Stay informed on current trends and best practices in language education to provide up-to-date guidance.
Qualifications
• Native-level proficiency in German, with strong communication skills in English.
• Experience in reviewing and editing educational or language learning content is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with the US learner base or experience working with non-native learners is a plus.
• Strong collaboration and mentorship skills, with the ability to work closely with educators and content teams.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering culturally authentic and accurate language content.
• Bachelor’s degree in German, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
