German Specialist Teacher

Are you passionate about teaching language through creative, human-centered approaches? Samford Valley Steiner School (SVSS) is seeking a dynamic German Specialist Teacher to inspire students in Classes 4 to 7, helping them connect with language, culture and the world.

The Role
As the German Specialist Teacher, you will:
Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for Classes 4 to 7, based on Steiner education principles and the Australian Steiner Curriculum Framework.
Foster a love of language and culture through creative, hands-on experiences, incorporating art, music, imagination and oral traditions.
Maintain a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment that supports students’ academic, social and emotional growth.
Collaborate with colleagues, participate in school events and contribute to the school’s vibrant community life.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience teaching German in a Steiner Primary School setting.
Strong classroom management skills and a holistic, human-centered teaching approach.
Ability to engage students in imaginative, creative lessons that promote language learning and cultural understanding.
A commitment to collaborating with colleagues and contributing to the broader school community.
