Role Summary
The GeM Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end activities related to the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal, including vendor registration, product/service listing, bid participation, order processing, and compliance with government procurement norms.
Key Responsibilities
GeM Portal Operations
• Handle vendor registration, brand approval, and OEM authorization on the GeM portal
• Create and manage product and service listings with accurate specifications and pricing
• Upload catalogues, images, technical documents, and compliance certificates
Bidding & Order Management
• Monitor and participate in BOQs, bids, reverse auctions, and direct purchase orders
• Prepare and submit bid documents, compliance sheets, and quotations
• Track order status, acceptance, invoicing, delivery, and payment follow-ups
Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure adherence to GeM policies, GFR rules, and government procurement guidelines
• Maintain records of contracts, invoices, performance reports, and correspondence
• Handle returns, replacements, penalties, and grievance
