Job Description
Estimated salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
We are seeking an experienced and efficient Receptionist to join our team at The Albany Practice, a GP surgery located in Brentford Health Centre. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our practice, providing excellent patient care, and supporting our clinicians in their daily activities.
Your primary duties will include:
• Managing our appointment system, ensuring efficiency and monitoring the flow of patients into consulting and treatment rooms.
• Scanning hospital letters and other patient-related documents into patients' computer records, as required.
• Operating our telephone system, receiving and making calls, diverting calls, and taking messages as necessary.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will also be expected to:
• Assist with QOF targets by maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Process patients' repeat prescription requests efficiently and effectively.
• Provide administrative support to our clinicians, including chaperoning and stocking of rooms.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, who is able to work well under pressure and maintain confidentiality. If you have experience working in a healthcare setting and possess strong organizational and time management skills, we would like to hear from you.
Please note that full training will be provided on our clinical system, SystmOne, and all other aspects of the role.
