Job Description
Wilco Contractors Southwest is hiring both BULK and FINISH Heavy Equipment Operators (Excavator, Dozer, Skid Steer, Rock Truck, Loaders)
Please note - These positions will start in April 2026, with the exact start date being weather dependent. All Operators will undergo an in person Competency and Evaluation by our HEO Manager at the Wilco Contractors Training Facility, prior to receiving a full time offer and starting work.
Responsibilities and duties for Operators;
Minimum 3+ years experience in any of the following; Skid Steer, Rock truck, Packer, Excavator or Dozer, and various other Heavy Equipment, in a Landscape or a Civil Construction setting.
GPS Experience
Basic understanding of survey/layout required
Capable of operating under numerous and varied job site situations
Self-motivated and able to function as valuable crew members
Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
Reading and interpreting ground markings to ensure proper depth to grade is followed
Willing and able to assist ground crew when Equipment/Machine, is not in use.
Strong communication skills
