Job Description
As a Graduate Assistant Teacher of Music, you will have a genuine interest in music education and performance at all levels. You should demonstrate the necessary skills to contribute to the life of the Music Department and ideally be a first-rate pianist and accompanist. You should also have the skills to assist pupils with composition, music technology, aural, sight-singing, and theory.
Accommodation will be provided as the successful candidate will also help in a boarding house.
This position is designed to allow graduates who might be considering a teaching career to experience life in a boarding school as fully as possible. Previous GATs have gone on to positions in education both at Dauntsey’s and at other schools.
