Graduate Teaching Assistant – Hillingdon – Immediate Start
Are you a recent graduate looking to gain experience in education? A Secondary School in Hillingdon is offering a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team and support students across a range of subjects. This role is ideal for a driven graduate considering a future in teaching or education and wanting hands-on experience in the classroom.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping students achieve their academic potential while working closely with teaching staff to deliver engaging lessons.
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting students in a range of subjects, including Maths, English, and Science, both in-class and through small group interventions.
• Working with students who need additional support, helping to boost their confidence and understanding.
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, resource development, and classroom management.
• Providing one-to-one support for students with SEND or those needing extra help with their studies.
• Offering targeted support for students preparing for exams, helping them achieve their academic goals.
The ideal candidate will have:
• A 1st Class or 2:1 degree in any subject.
• A passion for education and a desire to work with young people.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
• A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to support both students and staff in any way possible.
