At Rocksensor India, we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We're searching for highly creative graphic designers that can take conceptual ideas and turn them into visual representations for print and digital media. Collaborating with multiple teams at our company, the graphic designer should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate should have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project.
Job Responsibilities:
Design clear engaging graphic communications for print and web. This will include marketing/communication brochures, direct mail pieces, website and social media graphics, posters, flyers, and other marketing materials as needed.
Produce effective campaigns for social media and various digital marketing platforms (aligned with the brand’s guidelines).
Ability to take initiative, show good judgment, and manage projects from beginning to end.
Present design drafts to the relevant managers and must be flexible in incorporating any feedback given into future designs.
Conceptualizes assignments by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts as per specified media requirements. Adjusts designs and copy according to direction provided by stakeholders.
Obtains approval of concepts by submitting rough layouts, timelines, and estimates for approval.
Maintains technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and staying up to date on marketing and design trends, etc.
Come up with fresh creative ideas and concepts for the on behalf of the company.
Assist with website and blog updates.
Develop our company brand to increase brand presence
Other projects as assigned.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
Strong creative and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames.
Quick Learner, efficient and detail oriented.
Ability to communicate well with others and maintain a professional demeanor.
A good portfolio of past design and creative projects.
Expert with design software and editing tools. (InVision, Adobe, Corel DRAW, etc)
Good command over design techniques and visual elements.
Education/Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in fields related to design.
Prior experience as a junior designer.
Weightage will be given if you have a technical design experience preferably in the field instrumentation.
