Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
Operate cash registers efficiently while ensuring accurate cash handling.
Provide product demonstrations and promote items through effective upselling techniques.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grocery aisles and displays.
Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner.
Perform basic math calculations for transactions and inventory management.
Experience
Previous experience in a retail or grocery environment is preferred but not required.
Strong phone etiquette and ability to communicate clearly in English.
Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Familiarity with cashiering procedures and cash handling practices.
Basic technical sales knowledge is a plus, particularly related to grocery products.
Ability to engage customers through product demos and effective communication.
