Matthews Hospitality – proudly operating 10 popular pubs and venues across the state since 1942 – is seeking a dynamic and strategic Group IT Manager to join our executive team and drive the digital heartbeat of our business.
About the Role
As Group IT Manager, you’ll take charge of the technology that powers our venues, ensuring thousands of customers enjoy seamless experiences every single day. You’ll oversee all aspects of our IT infrastructure and systems, manage vendor relationships for business-critical platforms, and play a key role in shaping our long-term technology vision.
This is not a behind-the-desk role. It’s hands-on, varied, and strategically vital. You’ll collaborate with venue managers, support teams, and senior executives, providing leadership and expertise across operations, innovation, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage IT operations across ten venues to ensure consistent, reliable performance and security.
Management and maintenance of server and network infrastructure, including external outsourced vendor helpdesk support
Oversee vendor relationships and contracts for core business systems including POS, finance, HR, marketing, operations and communications.
Develop and execute a long-term IT and digital transformation roadmap aligned with Matthews Hospitality’s growth strategy.
Provide executive-level insight and reporting to the CEO and leadership team.
Drive innovation through emerging hospitality technologies that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.
Travel intrastate and interstate as required to support venues and projects.
