Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Gymnastics Teacher to join our Physical Education department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching gymnastics to students of all age groups and be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering gymnastics lessons in alignment with CBSE curriculum standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, design, and deliver gymnastics lessons for students across primary, middle, and senior school levels.
Teach a variety of gymnastics disciplines including floor exercises, apparatus work (vault, bars, beam, etc.), and rhythmic gymnastics where applicable.
Develop training programs to improve flexibility, coordination, balance, strength, and discipline among students.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during classes by following appropriate safety protocols and using proper techniques.
Organize and prepare students for inter-school, district, state, and national-level gymnastics competitions.
Maintain records of student progress, attendance, and participation.
Collaborate with the Physical Education department and other faculty for school events, annual sports day, and extracurricular activities.
Promote physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle within the school community.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed) or equivalent with specialization or certification in gymnastics.
Minimum 2 years of experience in teaching or coaching gymnastics at a school or professional level.
Familiarity with CBSE curriculum and sports education guidelines.
Strong understanding of child development, safety protocols, and injury prevention in gymnastics.
Skills Required:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire students.
Patience, discipline, and a student-centric approach to teaching.
Organizational skills and the ability to plan engaging and age-appropriate activities.
