Meridian Business support is working on behalf of an educational establishment based in Manchester, they require an experienced, qualified HR Manager to lead a team of HR Assistants
Role:HR Manager
Start date: ASAP
Location: Manchester
Hours: 36 hours a week 2.30pm finish on Fridays
Salary: £45,118 per annum (pro rata)
The role of HR Manager is for 6 month - fixed term contract.
Why do they have this role?
The current HR Manager is to be assigned to a project for 6 months. As a result of this, an opportunity has arisen to join their friendly and enthusiastic HR team in an interesting and varied role as an interim HR Team Leader.
The HR Team Leader will report to the Director of Human Resources and will line manage a Senior HR Assistant and 3 x HR Assistants. Their teams vision is to provide an efficient, professional and customer focused HR Service, supporting the Group in attracting, recruiting, developing, & retaining the best talent as well as being a great place to work.
They are looking for a friendly, professional and hardworking individual with the ability to effectively manage staff and experience of managing HR operational processes. The ideal candidate will have HR experience working in education with an in-depth knowledge of carrying out safer recruitment employment checks in an educational or other public sector organisation.
