Responsibilities
Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling according to client preferences
Deliver outstanding customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations
Upsell retail products such as hair care items to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
Manage front desk duties including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments
Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and positive reviews
Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and salon products to provide innovative services
Skills
Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
Expertise in hair styling, coloring, cutting, and treatments
Knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
Ability to upsell retail products effectively without being pushy
Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members
Experience in retail sales within a salon or beauty environment is a plus
Proficiency in front desk operations including appointment scheduling and cash handling
