Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Handbag Designer. The Handbag Designer will be responsible for designing and creating high-quality handbags inspired by Indian culture and heritage. They will work closely with the design team to develop innovative and unique handbag designs, conduct fittings to ensure the perfect fit and comfort, and select the appropriate textiles and materials for each handbag design.
Qualifications
• Fashion Design and Textile knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Experience in creating handbag designs
• Knowledge of embroidery techniques, textiles and handlooms
• Passion for fashion and an understanding of current fashion trends
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Skilled in Computer-Aided Design (CAD)
• Proficient in CorelDRAW and Adobe Photoshop
• Experienced in product development and research
