We’re hiring a Hardware Systems Engineer who can design both the PCB and the firmware — taking an idea from schematic to layout to production-ready code.
What You’ll Own
• Circuit Design: Schematic capture for solar controllers, loggers, gateways, and edge devices
• PCB Layout: Multilayer board design, component placement, EMI/thermal management, DFM-ready output
• Firmware Development: Embedded C/C++ on STM32/ESP32 or similar MCUs for sensors, comms, and device control
• Protocol Integration: Implement and test UART, RS485, CAN, Modbus, MQTT
• Bring-up & Testing: Hands-on debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG tools
• Production Handoff: Create BOMs, Gerbers, and test documentation for EMS vendors
• Cross-Team Coordination: Work with cloud/IoT platform and embedded software teams for seamless system integration
• What We’re Looking For
• 2–5 years of experience designing and shipping embedded hardware systems
• Proficiency in Altium / KiCad for schematic + PCB layout
• Experience with STM32, ESP32, or similar microcontrollers
• Strong grasp of analog/digital interfacing, power electronics basics, sensor integration
• Experience writing low-level drivers, boot-up code, and debugging field firmware
• Understanding of EMI, safety, thermal, and compliance constraints
• Bonus: Experience building products for energy, solar, EVs, or smart metering
