Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head Accountant located in Ranoli,Vadodara. The Head Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Day-to-day tasks include managing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial statements, coordinating audits, and developing internal control policies and procedures. The role also involves supervising and mentoring accounting staff, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, and collaborating with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications
• Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and financial statement preparation
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and internal control development
• Strong supervisory and mentoring skills for accounting staff
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
• Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus
