Shared Services Head: Accounts
- GM/Head- Group Shared services ( Accounts and finance) for a very large and renowned organization with multiple domestic and international subsidiaries, offices and manufacturing plants.
- Position reports into Financial Controller and carries excellent growth prospects.
- CA with minimum 15 years of experience and deep expertise in managing shared services of large company/ group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategize and upgrade the finance shared service collaborating with finance and business leaders and improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Standardize finance shared service model in order to standardize, simplify and centralize activities that are being carried out in various parts of the organization at the same time ensuring adequate internal controls and adherence to compliances.
- Deliver outstanding services to internal customers at a cost, quality and timeliness comparable to best in class alternatives available in the industry.
- Drive performance improvements using benchmarks as a means for setting performance targets that are met either through incremental performance improvements or transformational change.
- Drive the expansion of self-service functionality in order to improve internal customer experience and reduce manual processes.
- Identify, evaluate and include other potential operational / business areas that can be covered through the shared service model
- Perform autonomously, initiate and manage complex, departmental and/or cross- company work.
- Responsible for Service Delivery, compliance and control environment for processes & transactions done through shared service center
- Develop, modify and maintain the operational and design effectiveness of internal controls within the shared service group
- Set and improve policies and standard operating procedures, maintaining full compliance and implementing best practices
- Develop critical KPIs for the shared service center, measure, audit and report performance against KPIs
- Maintain weekly, monthly communications and metrics reporting with business partners
- Establish strong and robust communication and be responsible for coordinating and representing the interests of the Shared services group in the areas of Invoicing,
- Remittance, Application, Collection, Reconciliation and Disputes
- Drive cost savings and optimize operational efficiency through shared services delivery model
