Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring high performance and strong collaboration.
Design and execute creative, seasonal, and cost-effective menus.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence.
Maintain inventory, order supplies, and manage food costs within budget.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations.
Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
Monitor kitchen equipment and coordinate maintenance or repairs as needed.
Work closely with front-of-house staff to coordinate service and respond to guest feedback.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a busy restaurant environment.
Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Deep understanding of kitchen operations, food cost control, and inventory management.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
Creative flair with a passion for culinary innovation.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
