Location: Kolkata/Mumbai/Bangalore
Deliverables:
Develop principles and approaches for data collection, analysis and visualization, select recommended software packages and
recommendations on application of mathematical models depending on task types
▪ Control compliance of data analysts with methodologies in project teams, control of uniformity and consistency of implemented solutions
▪ Participation in hiring of analytics specialists: prepare functional tests, conduct interviews and approve development candidates
▪ Onboarding and initial analyst training
▪ Participation in projects and expert support of teams in the course of product implementation
▪ Supervising analytics, model building and interaction with business unit and production managers
▪ Play a critical role in database design and development, data integration and ingestion,as well as designing ETL architectures using a variety of
ETL tools and techniques
▪ Implement the best possible solutions for stakeholders in close collaboration with inhouse & out-sourced Data Science team
▪ Lead workstreams in acquiring, ingesting, and processing data from multiple sources and systems into our Data lake, data warehouse & other
big data platforms.
Requirements:
5+ years of working experience in data analysis and modeling. Deep technical understanding of Python or R, relational systems (SQL) and
distributed systems (Map/Reduce, Hive, Spark, etc.)
▪ Understanding of key areas and methods of analytics, business and data storage systems, software development methods
▪ Successful track record of leading complex projects, proven ability to develop and manage talent
▪ Knowledge of Data Science and engineering - raw data, model building, hypothesis formulation and validation, results visualization
▪ Knowledge of mathematical statistics, predictive analytics, big data analytics
▪ Experience in at least one BI tool (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, SAP BO, etc. )
▪ End-to-End Data Warehousing experience on SAP BW Hana or Azure Synapse or AWS Redshift, building operational ETL data pipelines across a
number of sources, and constructing relational and dimensional datamodels
▪ Experience in at least one ETL tool (e.g. Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, Informatica, Talend, Pentaho, DataStage)
▪ Ability to work across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, extracting information and identifying linkages across disparate datasets
▪ Strong development background with experience in at least two scripting, object oriented or functional programming languages such as
SQL, Python, Java, Scala, C#, R
▪ Excellent interpersonal skills when interacting in a clear, timely, and professional manner
▪ Proven ability in clearly communicating complex solutions
