About the job:
We are seeking a skilled, experienced and motivated Head of Digital Tech for a dynamic small finance bank. The primary responsibility will be creation and management of cutting-edge Merchant Apps for various segments of the bank. Those who have such proven and deep experience in fintechs will be best suited for the role. The role requires deep tech understanding and consumer banking knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Product Vision: Define a clear and compelling vision for the Merchant Apps, aligning it with the strategic goals of the bank.
- Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, collaborating with external vendors and internal cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch the app(s).
- Feature Prioritization: Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize app features, ensuring they align with business objectives and customer demands.
- User Experience (UX): Champion an exceptional user experience by collaborating with UX/UI designers to create an intuitive and user-friendly app interface.
- Integration: Coordinate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with the bank's systems and other relevant third-party services.
- Security and Compliance: Ensure that the app(s) complies with security standards and regulatory requirements, safeguarding sensitive financial information.
- Marketing and Promotion: Develop marketing strategies and collaborate with marketing teams to promote the app to merchant clients.
Qualifications:
- Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in developing and managing fintech or merchant applications.
- In-depth understanding of creation of mobile apps, security, and compliance best practices
