Head of Information Technology - Tirupati
We are looking for IT Head for Electronics manufacturing Company at Tirupati.
Position: General Manager - IT
Reporting to: COO
Team Size: 8 to 10
Purpose
To understand the Leadership's Vision and formulate IT strategy. Set up a fully automated unit within 2-3 years by implementing modern technology systems.
Key Deliverables
• Responsible for SAP Implementation
• e WMS is a critical deliverable
• Manufacturing Execution System ( MES ) is a critical deliverable
• Linker applications to link SAP and MES
• Warehouse physical automation ( neolync will engage Addverb)
• IT Security at all levels ranging from issuance of secure laptops to meeting ISO 27001 standards
• The ambition is to look at a Dark Factory operations in the next 2-3 years
• Very strong understanding of SAP in a technology manufacturing industry, along with non-SAP technologies involved in modern manufacturing.
• Will have very strong Project Management, Stakeholder Management, Team management and Business Lead and manage all aspects of the IT organization, including infrastructure, applications, security, and support across all three manufacturing plants.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with NeoLync Group's overall business goals, focusing on innovation, efficiency, and cost optimization.
• Oversee the deployment and ongoing management of critical enterprise systems, including SAP, MES (Manufacturing Execution System), eWMS (Warehouse Management System), and QMS (Quality Management System). Implementing the WMS & QMS would be the most immediate and critical project for the role.
• Champion the adoption of advanced automation tools and technologies within the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) sector to enhance production efficiency and quality control.
• Ensure robust cybersecurity measures are implemented and maintained to protect company data and infrastructure.
• Build and lead a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Manage IT budgets effectively, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring cost-effective technology solutions.
• Partner with business unit leaders to understand their technology needs and provide efficient and timely solutions.
• Stay abreast of emerging IT trends in the manufacturing sector and recommend their strategic 15+ years of experience in Information Technology, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry.
• Proven track record of successfully deploying and managing complex IT infrastructure, including SAP, MES, and WMS systems.
• In-depth understanding of IT security best practices and experience implementing robust cybersecurity measures.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and motivate a team.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement processes.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across various departments.
• Experience in managing geographically dispersed IT teams (preferred).
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (required)
