- People Development: Design and implement comprehensive people and leadership development programs that address the unique needs of the region, driving organizational effectiveness.
- Change Management: Facilitate and support organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes, technologies, and behaviors.
- Community Engagement: Collaborate with the global L&D community to share best practices, drive continuous improvement, and stay abreast of industry trends.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with regional stakeholders, effectively identifying performance gaps and opportunities for development.
- Learning Culture: Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and growth, empowering employees to develop their skills and advance their careers.
- Leadership Development: Provide tailored coaching, mentoring, and leadership development plans to support the growth and development of regional leaders.
- Budget Management: Effectively manage the regional L&D budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and demonstrating measurable outcomes.
The Successful Applicant
- 10+ years of experience with 5+ years of strategic L&D leadership experience in a retail or FMCG or multi-store environment.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative L&D strategies and frameworks.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated ability to drive enterprise-wide performance improvement and organizational transformation.
- Deep understanding of various leadership models, adult learning theories, and emerging L&D trends.
- Formal education within the HR field (or similar)
- Advanced degree in Human Resources or a related field.
