Job Description
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Financial Management
Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost improvement.
Prepare financial reports and forecasts related to manufacturing operations.
Operational Management
Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Ensure production processes are efficient, cost-effective, and meet quality standards.
Quality Assurance
Implement and maintain quality control systems to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
Address and resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
Safety And Compliance
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Promote a culture of safety within the manufacturing team and conduct regular safety audits.
Vendor And Supply Chain Management
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment.
Technology And Innovation
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices.
Evaluate and implement new technologies and processes to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
Process Improvement
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce waste.
Utilize lean manufacturing principles and other methodologies to drive operational excellence.
Team Leadership
Lead, mentor, and develop the manufacturing team, including managers and supervisors.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Qualification
20+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, with a proven track record of managing large-scale production operations.
Proficiency in manufacturing software and technology.
Experience of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
