Description

The NPD Head will direct and manages all aspects of the Engineering function including but not limited to Customer Service, Engineering Services, Manufacturing Engineering and all aspects of APQP for series production related projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the NPD team to conceptualize, design, and develop sheet metal fabricated assemblies and parts.

Collaborate with cross -functional teams, including engineering, Production, marketing & sales, to ensure successful product launches.

Product development following APQP procedure and with first time right approach.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, and efficiency within the design and development teams.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.

Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 15+ years of experience in product development, Adhering APQP, PPAP and strategic project leadership within the automative or exhaust system manufacturing industry.

Exposure /Hands on Experience for end-to-end product development cycle starting from RFQ to SOP.

Strong understanding on Sheet Metal and Fabrication manufacturing process.
