About the Role:

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Marketplace Business Head to lead and scale our presence across all major e-commerce marketplaces. This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for driving P&L ownership, sales strategy, performance marketing alignment, and operational excellence across platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, Blinkit, BigBasket, and others.

The ideal candidate comes with a proven track record of scaling marketplace revenue for a reputed D2C brand and brings a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics, negotiation, merchandising, and ROI-driven growth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Own and drive P&L responsibility for all marketplace channels.
• Develop and implement scalable strategies to maximize revenue, profitability, and market share across platforms.
• Identify growth opportunities across platforms through promotions, exclusive launches, and assortment planning.
• Forge and manage strong relationships with category teams across marketplaces.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including supply chain, finance, and brand to ensure operational excellence.
• Optimize product listings, pricing, promotions, and ratings to improve organic visibility and conversion.
• Lead marketplace advertising and performance marketing initiatives in sync with digital and growth teams.
• Constantly monitor competition, market trends, and new platform developments to stay ahead.
• Track and report weekly/monthly sales performance, ensuring KPIs are met or exceeded.

Requirements:
• 7–10+ years of experience with a top-performing D2C or consumer brand, leading marketplace strategy and growth.
• Strong understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem and best practices in marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart, etc.
• Prior experience managing large portfolios and teams with complete P&L ownership.
• Data-driven mindset with comfort using analytics to drive decisions and performance.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Experience in the Nutrition / FMCG / Consumer Products space is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
