Job Description
London Northwest University Healthcare Trust is seeking a head of service with significant expertise and experience of Equality Diversity Inclusion (EDI) culture change and engagement strategies, to lead these development programmes, implement change and deliver results.
The post holder will be responsible for EDI, culture change, staff engagement and experience programmes, providing assurance to the Trust committee and Board that the organisation’s practices and policies are equitable and non-discriminatory. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new leadership team supporting our organisation to achieve its aspirational EDI goals, to shape its form and culture, build diverse leadership and facilitate change in a way that continues to make our Trust a great place to train and work.
You should be able to demonstrate the skills of being able to work with colleagues in all parts of our complex system to address the ongoing workforce and service challenges, whilst undertaking major change to ensure we are achieving our local and strategic goals. You should also have strong people management skills and be able to interpret and assess the implications of pending legislation.
• Reporting to the Chief People Officer, lead on the development, implementation and monitoring of the Trusts EDI, and culture change strategy, plans and initiatives to enable delivery of the Trusts People plan and strategic vision.
• Serve as head of EDI and Culture, developing the Trusts short- and long-term plans and strategies and reprioritising workload changes to embed our HEART values.
• Oversee the annual staff survey, survey results and communication plan and the development and implementation of plans and initiatives that will drive employee engagement, and meet the Trust’s goals.
