About this opportunity:

Ericsson is seeking a dynamic and enterprising individual to join our team as the Managed Services Head of FSO ASP Management within the Managed Services Customer Leadership Team (MSCLT) serving a Tier 1 customer in North America. In this position, you will lead our third -party ecosystem—fleet, ASPs and 3PPs—to deliver seamless, compliant and cost-effective field operations. You’ll own vendor strategy, contract negotiations, performance governance and cross functional integration to drive service excellence and continuous improvement.

What you will do:
Vendor & Contract Management

Define partnership strategies, negotiate and execute favorable contracts. Oversee vendor performance against SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs; run governance forums and manage escalations.
Fleet Operations

Ensure availability, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of all vehicles. Optimize fuel usage, cost control, and total cost of ownership.
Performance & Compliance

Track, analyze, and report on service delivery metrics; lead root cause analyses for recurring issues. Maintain all permits, inspections, insurance, and OHS certifications.
Process Improvement & Sustainability

Drive automation, lean practices, and carbon reduction initiatives such as the transition to electric vehicles. Standardize onboarding, governance, and feedback mechanisms for third-party providers.
Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate with FSO teams, MSCLT, sourcing, and customers to ensure seamless integration. Prepare executive-level reports on risks, opportunities, and overall performance.
The skills you bring:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent level of knowledge; advanced certifications are a plus.
Over 15 years of experience managing fleet and vendor networks, ideally within the telecom or managed services industry.
Deep knowledge of field operations, infrastructure equipment (e.g., gensets, power systems), and regulatory requirements
Proven track record in contract negotiation, cost optimization, and SLA governance
Data-driven decision-making with strong analytical and root cause analysis capabilities
Exceptional communicator and leader, adept at guiding global and virtual teams
Entrepreneurial mindset with a relentless focus on efficiency, quality, and customer success
