Position Overview:
We have a rare opportunity for a Head of HR to join Advania UK. You will report into our Chief People Officer and will work closely together on the operational and strategic effectiveness of our HR capability across Advania UK.

In this role you will have direct responsibility for overseeing the HR Business Partners and the HR Operations team. You will also work alongside Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition and Compensation & Benefits as required.


Responsibilities:

You can expect to be involved in:

Managing a team of HR Business Partners and HR Operations professionals, covering both the UK and South Africa.
Working with the Chief People Officer to manage and implement HR strategies that align with Advania UK's goals.
Collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team and Heads of Department on HR initiatives that align with departmental and company-wide objectives.
Overseeing the management and implementation of international working solutions.
Supporting integration efforts for acquired businesses, ensuring cultural alignment and seamless operational integration.
Overseeing mass TUPE projects where required, managing transitions while ensuring legal compliance and minimal disruption.
Ensuring the overall HR operations function runs efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications & Experience:

The right candidate for this role will have:

Managed an HR function as at "Director" or "Head of" level (or equivalent) for a business exceeding 1,000 employees.
Experience working in a professional services environment.
Experience working in a technology business.
Demonstrable experience in managing significant HR transformation and change programmes.
A track record of managing large TUPE projects in the context of mergers and acquisitions.
Familiarity with managing and implementing international working solutions.
Comfort with working in a fast-paced, highly acquisitive commercial environment.
Experience of working with teams in the USA (desirable).
Past involvement in Talent Development programmes or equivalent (desirable).
Interview Process:

The selection process for this role will include formal interviews with our Chief People Officer and Chief Executive Officer, potentially alongside other members of the Senior Leadership Team.

The budgeted salary for this role is between £85,000 to £130,000 per year, depending on experience.

Hybrid working:
