Job Description

Responsibilities

· Drive manufacturing excellence by providing strategic leadership and direction to the manufacturing team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives

· Develop and implement manufacturing strategies and plans that drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement

· Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing units, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices

· Establish and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure manufacturing excellence

· Analyze production data, identify areas of improvement, and implement corrective actions to optimize production processes and drive manufacturing excellence

· Develop and monitor budgets and financial performance metrics for the manufacturing function, ensuring that targets are met or exceeded while driving manufacturing excellence

· Provide guidance and support to site managers and unit heads, helping them to achieve their goals and objectives in line with manufacturing excellence principles

· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and procedures, and other relevant laws and regulations while driving manufacturing excellence.

· Develop and implement a culture of continuous improvement that encourages innovation and efficiency in manufacturing processes.

· Collaborate with the procurement and supply chain teams to optimize raw material and supply chain management to drive manufacturing excellence.

· Develop and implement best practices across manufacturing sites to standardize processes and drive consistency in manufacturing excellence.

· Conduct regular audits of manufacturing sites to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions to drive manufacturing excellence.

· Foster a culture of safety and environmental sustainability, ensuring that all manufacturing sites comply with relevant regulations and industry standards to drive manufacturing excellence.

· Work closely with the quality assurance team to implement robust quality control systems that drive manufacturing excellence.

· Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for manufacturing excellence, and develop strategies to continuously improve results.

Drive employee engagement and training initiatives to develop a skilled workforce and ensure that employees are aligned with the organization's goals and values for manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

· A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, operations management, or business administration

· At least 15 years of experience in manufacturing management, with a track record of success in managing large teams and multiple sites, while driving operational excellence

· Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results in driving manufacturing excellence

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders in driving manufacturing excellence

· Proven track record of driving efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations to achieve operational excellence

· Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data and identify areas of improvement to drive manufacturing excellence

· Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financial performance metrics for manufacturing operations, while driving operational excellence

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and tight deadlines, while driving manufacturing excellence
