Job Description
The client is a leading manufacturer of Gear Box Systems/ Components for textile machinery / Home Textiles/ Yarns/ based out of Coimbatore. The products manufactured over multiple units .
The industry is seeking an experienced Head of Operations to lead and oversee all technical operations at all its factories located within 30 km radius of Coimbatore
Responsibilities:
Plan daily, weekly & monthly operations of the Group production facilities to ensure that financial targets and operational standards of the facilities are met.
Lead the management team and provide direction to ensure effective management of the operational staff.
Drive cost effective operations through control of operating expenses and implementing cost savings initiatives.
Plan, organize, control day-to-day operations in the Group, to achieve production targets, product quality and on -time in full production.
Collect and analyse production data to identify areas of waste and to ensure optimized productivity levels.
Ensure plant safety procedures and company policies are followed and adhered to at all times.
Ensure the Continuous Improvement initiatives are driven.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's degree preferred.
15 -25 years of experience in handling diversified activities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Hands-on experience in handling large manufacturing plants
Comfort with directing people from varied backgrounds or taking up leadership responsibilities
