Mo te tūranga | About the Role
This role is all about leading our operations delivery and analytics team to new heights. You'll be responsible for leading the development and governance of the Operations strategy and operating model and collaborating with internal stakeholders to bring the Enterprise Operations target operating model to life. You will also oversee the design, build, and embedding of data insights, that identify improvement opportunities across Operations and uplift data-based decision making across the business.
You will govern our portfolio of delivery initiatives and projects and be instrumental in the capability development of the Operations function. Your work will have a real impact on our business and our customers, and you'll be playing a key role in helping us achieve our goals. You'll be leading a high-performing team, and empowering them to be part of an engaged and dynamic workforce that enables and facilitates Operations to become world-class.

As a seasoned leader with a passion for operations and analytics, here's what you bring to the team:
At least 10 years' experience at a senior practitioner or leadership level in banking/financial services/consulting/shared services/technology - you've got a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges
Strong knowledge and application of operations management frameworks, methodologies, and practices - you know how to get things done efficiently and effectively
Proven experience in delivering results through operations excellence, using tools like lean, DMAIC, agile, and human-centred design - you're always looking for ways to improve and innovate
Understanding of digital technologies like workflow, smart forms, robotics, and AI, and how they can be applied to solve different problems - you're tech-savvy and always looking for new ways to leverage technology
Proven track record in leading, motivating, and developing high-performing teams to deliver superior customer and business outcomes - you're a people person who knows how to get the best out of your team
Excellent stakeholder and relationship management, consulting, and communication skills - you're a master communicator who can build strong relationships with anyone
