As a key member of our team at Asahi India Glass Limited, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
• Safety Management: Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain a safe working environment, adhering to industry safety norms.
• Asset Health: Continuously review and improve maintenance plans to optimize asset performance and minimize downtime.
• Budget Review: Analyze annual budgets for production quantity, yields, utility consumption, and capital expenditure to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and monitor budgets against actual spending to identify areas for improvement.
• Equipment Optimization: Review and adjust operating parameters for critical equipment, including B/H, furnace, Metal Bath, and Lehr units, to maximize capacity utilization.
• Capacity Utilization: Facilitate maximum production volume by optimizing equipment usage and resources.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate on upgrades to production equipment, processes, and systems to meet business requirements.
• PPD Plan Review: Evaluate Production Planning and Development (PPD) plans against actual results.
• Manpower Development: Assist in developing a manpower development plan to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
• Employee Engagement: Foster high morale and motivation among department members through open communication and total employee involvement.
Requirements
We are seeking an experienced professional with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Ceramics, or Chemical Engineering (B. Tech). The ideal candidate should have 12-15 years of experience in the float glass manufacturing industry.
