PPC Head
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement production plans and schedules in alignment with demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels.
2. Lead and manage the production planning and control team, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
3. Utilize SAP and MRP systems to perform material planning, production scheduling, and inventory management activities effectively.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, procurement, logistics, and quality assurance to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
5. Monitor and analyze production data performance and key metrics, such as production and operational efficiency, on-time delivery, and inventory turnover, cost reduction and implement corrective actions as necessary
6. Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce stockouts, and improve inventory turnover rates.
7. Stay updated on industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements related to production planning and control, and incorporate relevant knowledge into our processes and systems.
8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and collaboration within the production planning and control function and across the organization.
Qualifications:
- B. Tech/MBA-Operations or SCM
- Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
