Job Description
- To take full responsibility for leading and managing significant aspects of the school, under the overall direction of the Management.
- To be responsible for the progression of the students academically as well as personal development.
- To Motivate, train and regularly monitor the teachers.
- Lead Academic department in scheduling the Examination, Academics Calendar, Guest Lectures, Student Training, Field Visits etc.
- Responsible for the retention of the students and teachers.
- Develop creative and responsive approaches to teaching and learning.
- Coordinate with the Management for various tasks & activities related to the school.
- Inspire Stakeholder confidence in the school by conducting parent orientations in a timely manner.
- Create a clear vision & positive ethos for the future of the school.
- Monitor & evaluate the quality of teaching & standards of learning.
- Maintain & develop the school’s curriculum & extra
- curricular activities in collaboration with the HOD’s & Academic Coordinators.
- Work closely with the Principal, vice
- principal & Administration staff for operational matters for smooth functioning of the school.
- Ensure that parents & pupils are well informed about the curriculum, attainment & progress towards their targets.
- Ensure upgrades in pedagogical processes to implement best practice relevant for building
21st century skills.
• Qualifications:
- Post-Graduation in any stream and B.Ed. / Equivalent Qualification from a recognized University.
- 5-6 years of experience in successfully managing and leading K-12 schools.
• Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the mentoring and supervision of senior educators.
- Experience in executing successful school turnaround projects, curriculum transition projects from state to national / international curriculum
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication as well as presentation skills.
- The ability to follow instructions but also come up with original ideas.
- Knowledge of budgeting and management.
- Passionate about delivering high quality services to children and their families.
