Health & Safety Coordinator Role
We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Coordinator to support a leading manufacturing company. This 5-month daily rate contract requires a professional with 3 years' experience in Health & Safety, Manual Handling Trainer/Assessor certification, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing site manual handling risk assessments, utilizing proven planning, problem-solving skills, organisational abilities, and attention to detail. A strong background in safety protocols and procedures is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and update site manual handling risk assessments
Conduct thorough site inspections to identify potential hazards
Develop and implement effective safety plans to mitigate risks
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
3 years' experience in Health & Safety
Manual Handling Trainer/Assessor certification
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary Range: $80-$100 per day, depending on experience
