About the Job
We are seeking an Environmental Health Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and monitoring all aspects of health, safety, and environmental processes at various project locations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive EHS assessments and recommend corrective measures to project management.
Provide training and education to company personnel regarding EHS requirements.
Assist project management in coordinating subcontractor EHS protocols and vendor/owner personnel working on company projects.
Conduct accident investigations and complete incident reporting for project management review.
Establish hospital and clinical care facilities for each project.
Advises project management on Industrial Hygiene protocols and performs Environmental Monitoring.
Administers the company's Drug-Free Workplace Policy.
Facilitates orientation of all project employees to EHS practices required by the company.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
CHST (Construction Health & Safety Technician) Certification preferred.
Less than 3 years of experience in the construction safety field.
Some travel required.
Required to stand, walk, sit, and climb stairs or ladders.
OSHA 30 hour preferred.
First Aid, CPR AED preferred.
Salary and Benefits
Estimated salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
