Job Description
Due to continued strong growth and the award of several new projects supporting critical infrastructure across Vic, we are looking for a Safety Manager to join our Vic team. This role offers the opportunity to lead safety initiatives and foster a culture of excellence in a dynamic environment.

As the Safety Manager, you will:
Lead Safety Initiatives: Manage and oversee safety performance across multiple infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with NSW legislation and organisational standards.
Enhance Safety Systems: Implement and improve safety management systems, tailored to diverse project needs.
Collaborate Across Projects: Work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to foster a culture of safety and ensure best practices are applied consistently.
Conduct Audits and Assessments: Perform regular inspections, risk assessments, and compliance checks to maintain high safety standards.
Mentor and Develop Teams: Provide leadership, training, and support to project safety teams, ensuring their professional growth and alignment with organisational goals.
Required Skills and Competencies
Extensive experience in senior safety roles, specifically across multiple large-scale infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of Vic safety legislation, systems, and risk management frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor safety teams across complex project environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising across diverse teams and contractors.
Relevant qualifications in Workplace Health & Safety or a related discipline.
